The Story of Imooge

A Tale of Triumph and Tragedy

Imooge was founded in 2008 by an aspiring web developer known only by his codename UltraNinja007SlayerOfDragons. Imooge has grown quickly from its humble beginnings, and is currently one of the most talked about websites on the Internet 1. Here's how it all started...

So one day while playing World of Warcraft, Joe went OOC and said to me: "Hey UltraNinja007SlayerOfDragons, why don't you make an awesome website where people can post stuff and express their true feelings so that we can reach world peace?" After a brief pause, I responded back and said: "Sure, that sounds like a great idea! I just have to finish this quest so I can get some +1 AGI chaps for my Elf Rogue" 2. The idea did indeed scare me, however I had just finished making a blog for my dog and had nothing better to do. So why not?

At first, I didn't know where to begin. I fired up Microsoft Paint, drew a few squiggly lines, then opened up Notepad and started writing binary code -which I had never done before 3. After a few early mishaps involving a brown bear and a Papa Murphy's take n' bake pizza, I had finished the site. I called up Joe and after the customary waazaaa greeting I said: "Hey Joe, I am done with my website; it only took 2 days! I want you to be my first moderator!" Joe was, needless to say, flabbergasted with excitement and agreed. The rest, my friends, is history.
