Q. I receive a "File missing or invalid file type" error when trying to submit an image.
A. Imooge supports jpeg (jpg), png, and gif file formats. To verify the image type you are trying to submit, right-click on the image and go to Properties (for Windows) or Get Info (for Mac). The file type should be listed.
Q. I want to stop receiving email notifications of comments on my posts!
A. I will be implementing that feature soon. Until then, stop being so darn popular!
Q. I submitted an image but it doesn't show on the main page.
A. Submitted images must be approved by a moderator or admin prior to going live on the website. Mods and admins are automatically notified when a new post is submitted, so someone should review it soon. Admins are able to flag certain user accounts so that they do not need to go through the approval process (see next question below).
Q. How do I make it so my submitted images don't need approval?
A. Distinguished users who have shown a history of polite and honorable conduct may have their account flagged by an admin, and be able to post without going through the approval process. This is entirely up to the discretion of the admin(s), and please do not ask for this great honor to be bestowed upon you.
Q. Can I become a moderator?
A. Sorry, I am not looking for new moderators at this time.
Q. Is there a way to send a private message to an Imooge member?
A. There is currently no message system on Imooge, although I may be implementing that feature in the future. If the user has their email set to private in their profile, your only way to communicate with them is through post comments.
