FAQ


Q. I receive an Invalid File Type error when trying to submit an image.
A. Imooge supports jpeg (jpg), png, and gif file formats. To verify the image type you are trying to submit, right-click on the image and go to Properties (for Windows) or Get Info (for Mac). The file type should be listed.


Q. I submitted content but it doesn't show on the main page.
A. Submissions must be approved by a moderator or admin prior to going live on the website. Mods and admins are automatically notified when a new post is submitted, so someone should review it soon.


Q. How do I make it so my submissions don't need approval?
A. Distinguished users who have shown a history of polite and honorable conduct may have their account elevated by the admin, and be able to post without going through the approval process. This is entirely up to the discretion of the admin, so please do not ask for this great honor to be bestowed upon you.


Q. Can I become a moderator?
A. Sorry, I am not looking for new moderators at this time.


Q. Is there a way to send a private message to an Imooge member?
A. There is no message system on Imooge. If the user has their email set to private in their profile, your only way to communicate with them is through post comments or by shouting really loudly at your computer.
